I am singing Neely Bruce’s “Whitman Fragments,” a song cycle consisting of 36 songs on texts excerpted from Walt Whitman’s “Song of Myself,” accompanied by the composer at the piano. Also featured on the program is cellist Alex Waterman. This concert kicks off the “This Is It 2.0” series featuring the complete chamber music of Neely Bruce.
